1. Windows Update settings
2. Power and sleep settings
3. Personalization (desktop background, themes)
4. Privacy settings
5. Display settings
6. Sound settings
7. Taskbar and Start Menu settings
8. File Explorer options
9. Network and Internet settings
10. Backup and recovery options

Although the settings are similar, note that there may be minor differences in the user interface and organization due to Windows 11’s updated look and feel. Always use the appropriate version for the most current options and features.

You can’t escape using HTML, Javascript and PHP so you would need to master those first.

But no “idea” person does that. They usually dive in and do this in WordPress and go find funding to hire staff.

Mind you I take it you are asking about a PC with Windows 11 that is getting updates and not about Windows 7,8 or 10 upgrades to 11.

Which is why I’m looking to educate myself on the building blocks.

Detail your disruptive idea and then ask different companies what they offer to build a site/app/both according to your requirements.

The answer to your question depends on your question. My colleague birdmantd told about the first,

The first two suggestions are to make certain that your computer meets the minimum hardware standards and that your HDD/SDD has sufficient storage space. Microsoft has a tool/PC application that scans your computer thoroughly to check current specifications and compatibility.

Back up your current storage before attempting to update. When I updated my system, everything worked perfectly and I had a clean install with no loss of data/files. When I upgraded it merely installed over my existing storage and I did not need to re-install any files myself, it took care of it on its own.

Remember that not everyone will be successful the first time but always take precautions to minimize any potential problems. If you have persistent issues with the install you can go with the “nuclear option” which will wipe out your HDD/SDD contents and do a clean install as if it was a brand-new computer

Best wishes.
